ISO reflection

For my ISO photos I generally took pictures of things that reflected light really well, and had a lot of color. I stayed at my house for most of my pictures mainly because it was easy and I had items that would work really well for this shoot. I used a lot of color and rule of thirds to give myself an interesting composition that worked well with my lighting. My subject matter ranged anywhere from dream catchers, candles/fire pits, books and flowers all the way to ice skates and trophies. I think I used my voice in a lot of my work because I showed a darker yet family and holiday spirited side to my photo shoot. I definitely think now I know what to look for when taking light based photos and using my individual style. Some thing I did really well were color, objects I chose, and my voice. I don't think that I used lighting in the best ways. I definitely feel I could have done better.

Depth of field reflection

For my DOF pictures I went to a farm where I keep my animals. There I took pictures of corn, grass, barns, and my llamas to give me a variety of different subject matters. I used color, rule of thirds, and unity as major fields of my artwork. The gave me great compositions to work with. For my subject matter I chose corn, grass and bits and pieces of farm land reflecting my personality through country life. I did individual pieces of corn and got close to the ground to see every aspect of nature in the grass. I think a strength during this photo shoot was definitely my subject matter. A weakness of mine would be how I arranged it in the setting to make it unique. One thing I would change is the amount of pictures. I wanted to use more of the ones I took because I had fun with this shoot.

Future photography

In the future photography will have reached all new levels! I think that one day we will be able to move our images to other people... Similar to airdrop except with an all new device!!! However I do believe that technology will get stronger maybe in a helpful way... Maybe not!  Definetley an improvement from the past!!!!!

Color Reflection

Describe: In the process of taking my photos I took everything from my house that was purple and in front of a light(outside) I took a picture up close of all of the objects!!  I didn't have to set anything up in stead I just focuse on the texture of each purple item!

Analyze: I used the rule of thirds to keep all of the objects off center... I also used texture to add depth to my pieces when photographing each item.

Interpret: After this project I look at the world differently. I view color in a whole new way! My main subject matter was my clothes. I took pictures up close to show the pattern of all my purple shirts.

Evaluate: my strengths in this project was definitely picking my item. My weakness was hands down how I took it. I think the lighting and overall view of my picture could have been better. If I could change one thing about this project it would be my color:) I struggled with purple a little bit...

Opinion on why photography exists...

My opinion on photography's existence is simple. It captures moments of life. Wether it's a flower, and animal, or a selfie you are capturing a moment of your life. It describes you personally with the little touches of family and friends. Photography has the ability to capture moments from the past and allow you to save them to look back on. I think that it is a creative perspective of life!

Starting photography

Wouldn't let me connect!!!

This year in photography I hope to learn all the basics and criteria it takes to create a good piece. My goal is to make it to AP photography. I sincerely enjoy taking pictures because it lets me be creative in a different way than drawing something. Photography helps you to capture a moment and it's what I hope to learn more of.

Art forging

I think that people shouldn't buy something for its brand name. Buy something because you like it. The forger never felt bad because these people bought the paintings as a status symbol. In today's society we depend on brand name... It matters to people how much money you spend on your close or otherwise there is judgement.

If I had a crazy power I would use it for good. Why just benefit yourself when you could benefit everybody... The painter used his skills to show how people didn't care what it looked like as long as they had a painting from a famous person!!!

My favorite photo

I really like this photo because there is an emphasis on the color, but it really captures her expression and love for swimming. If I had taken this picture I probably would have taken it at eye level to make you feel as if you were there to.

Photography A-Z

Welcome to my first post! Currently in photography journalism we are doing an A-Z project. This project is focused on making objects that are everywhere and seen on a regular basis look like letters. I took the day with my parents driving around finding letters all over my town. I took pictures of a stop light to make the letter E, a hole in a net to make the letter O, and even a roof to make the letter  A!  Soon i will post my project results:)
