Semester 2 final post

At the beginning of the year I can admit photography was very challenging for me. As the year progressed I was taught rules of composition such as leading lines, close and far, and rule of thirds to give my photos more variety and give it a more professional look. As the end of the school year was approaching I could see such a difference in my photos. Especially the food photoshoot. I really grew as a photographer and the food. I had beautiful lighting, angles, and timing perfect.

I had no idea what my main focus would be in photography. There are so many things to take pictures. Now I can say I love portraits. Everybody's different and to capture so many unique characteristics of a person is a great feeling. My photos mean a lot to me. My family and friends are in my photos. My work also portrays a lot of my creative and artistic side.

Someone who has influenced my photography would definitely be my dad. He loves to take photos and always has his camera with him. He helped me a lot with my photo shoots. Helping me find and angle or fixed the lighting. His photos are very unique and I love that he is willing to teach me more. My dad is responsible for me becoming so interested in photography and loving portraits. My dad has done a few of them and it's been my inspiration.

Towards the beginning of the year I had barely any strengths in photography. Now, I have improved. My abilities to set the scene and change lighting or compositions. A big weakness of mine is choosing
an item to photograph an incorporating my voice. I never understood how you can put your voice  into a photo of a flower or other objects. Hopefully my weakness can become strengthened in photo AP next school year.

Nature photoshoot

For this photoshoot i really enjoyed going outside and showing my artistic ability. It gave me a lot of option for a composition. I used rules sich as close and far and rule of thirds. My photos had very beautiful natural lighting and came out great. My favorite part was the scavenger hunt aspect. It was specific but i could show my own artistic ability and voice in each picture. My least favorite part was the time. I would have liked more time.

Portraiture photoshoot

I absolutely loved this photoshoot. I spent a lot of time putting it together to get it just right. I used dont center and close and far to give a variety of composition to each image. If i could change one thing it would be to take more pictures of other people and less of myself. My favorite part was incorporating my voice into each and every picture.

Food photoshoot

I really enjoyed this photoshoot. It has been one of my favorites. I really liked how there was so much variety. I used rule of thirds and close and far to give my photos a nice composition. My favorite part of this photoshoot was the color and the texture. If i could change one thing i would have taken more time setting up a unique scene.

Panorama

When taking my photos for this assignment I focused a lot on composition. Where I took them, how I took them, when I took them. I went to a place that is almost home for me. The volleyball club I've played at for the last 6 years has become a part of my everyday life. I used this location to take my panorama photos. I really enjoyed the identity aspect of this project. I wouldn't change a thing.

GIF

For my gif I decided to do something special to me. I took photos using continuous shot of my llama eating and running through a pasture. I used rule of thirds to keep my llama out of the center. Overall I loved this assignment I would definitely do it again. I wouldn't change anything about it. The level of difficulty wasn't very high though. I could definitely use more of a challenge.

Art in the park

For this photoshoot I was required to take pictures of nature using natural lighting. My main focus/object I took photos of was trees. The concept of trees providing air was a big idea in the earth day theme. Generally I used composition such as rule of thirds and close and far in my work. This has been one of my favorite photo shoots to do. I wouldn't change a thing about it.
